Mr. Zachary Dominic Phillips, 14, Passed Away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Fayetteville.
Zach was born in Norwich, CT on May 29, 2000 to Diana Hathaway and Eugene Phillips. He was a student at Anderson Creek Middle School and was scheduled to start as a freshman at Hoke High in Raeford. Zach was a loving son and will be greatly missed. His mother, Diana Hathaway preceded him in death.
He is survived by his father, Eugene Phillips; his brother, Justin Phillips of Raeford; a sister, Kelsey Phillips of Raeford; paternal grandparents, Donald and Alice Hathaway of Raeford; maternal grandmother, Kathy Phillips of Connecticut and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Funeral Services for Zachary and Diana will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2014 at West Fayetteville Baptist Church, 2465 Gillis Hill Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304 with Reverend’s Tony Wilson and Clarence Privette officiating.
Burial will follow the service in Cumberland Cemetery, Bingham Drive, Fayetteville, NC.
