Woodell Grant Cox

Woodell Grant Cox, 58, of Hope Mills, NC passed away Wednesday, February 8,
2023 in UNC Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Woodell was born in Cumberland County, NC on September 25, 1964, son to the
late Arch Owen Cox II and Beulah Kathleen Thaggard Cox. He worked in sales at
Tile Inc and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Along
with his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant child, Woodell Grant Cox Jr.
and 3 siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife, Candace McLand Cox of the home; a son,
Cameron Cox of Hope Mills; his mother-in-law, Grace McLamb of Fayetteville; a
sister-in-law, Robin Cox of Parkton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tommy and
Julie McLamb of Fayetteville and a host of extended family members.

Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Highland Baptist
Church, 4456 Legion Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.

A Service to Celebrate his life will begin at 3:00 PM following the visitation with
Pastor Danny Anderson Officiating.
