Winezinda (Gealon) Kroll

Mrs. Winezinda Gealon Kroll, 63, of Fayetteville, NC passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Winezinda was born in the Philippines on October 28, 1959, daughter to the late Cenon Gealon and Crescencia Villaflor. Winzinda worked as a Customer Service Representative with the US Government, a leader in the US Army Family Readiness Group and was known as the Soldiers Mother touching the lives of everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Macario Gealon, Godofredo Gealon and Cenon Jr. Gealon.

Winezinda is survived by her loving husband, Brian Leggett of Fayetteville, NC; a son, Harry Kroll and wife Laura of Sanford, NC; a daughter, Leslie Serrano and husband Anthony of Lakenheath AirForce Base; siblings, Bienvenido Gealon, Remedios De Le Torre, Lucy Korney, Josefina Gealon, Anotonio Gealon, Reynaldo Gealo, all of Cebu, Philippines and Eva Mara of Los Angeles, CA; 5 grandchildren, Kevin Kroll, Joel Serrano, Mila Serrano, Roman Serrano, Lana Serrano and many extended family members.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM -6:00 PM Sunday, March 26, 2023 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304

Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 27, 2023 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd Fort Bragg, NC 28310 with Minister James Blount Officiating.
