Mr. Wesley Wallace James, 73 passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Wesley was born in Beaufort County, NC on July 20, 1941 to the late Wesley A. and Cassie V. Peele James. He worked in Washington D.C. after serving his country in the US Army. Before passing away, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and is now with our Lord in heaven. Wesley was loved by many and will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary James of Fayetteville; sons, Wesley James Jr. of Florida, Troy James of Brooklyn, NY and Milton James of Wahpeton Falls, NY; a daughter, Regina James of Brooklyn, NY; a brother, Johnny James of Little Washington, NC; sisters, Pricilla James of Easton, MD and Sheila McElroy of Fayetteville; 9 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family to include his BFF for 49 years, Sonny.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304 with Reverend Arthur Lacewell officiating.
