Mr. Walter Feodorov, 91, passed away Monday March 28, 2016 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Walter was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 22, 1925 to the late John and Anna Barborka Feodorov. After High School he attended the Manhattan Conservatory of Music playing the Violin. He retired from the Telephone Company in Los Angeles and then worked as a Handy Man for ten years. He then worked for Walmart, K-Mart and Food Lion. Walter was a man who liked to stay busy. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Feoderov.
Walter is survived by his loving wife, Jo-Ann Feodorov; sons, John Vincent Feodorov and Victor Michael Feodorov; a daughter, Gloria deRue; step-sons, David Lawrence Shrewsbury, Lawrence Samuel Shrewsbury, Robert Lawrence Shrewsbury, Rodney Lawrence Shrewsbury and Matthew Lawrence Shrewsbury; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at LaFayette Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Staples officiating.
