Mr. Wade Hampton McNeill, 95, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 in Highland House of Fayetteville.
Wade was born in Robeson County on May 5, 1920 to the late Everett and Mary Ranson McNeill. He served in the United States Army and was a WWII Veteran. He was a member of Riverside Independent Baptist Church in Lumberton. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings and his wife, Betty Margaret McNeill.
Wade is survived by his brother, Dennis H. McNeill of Fayetteville; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Riverside Independent Baptist Church, 3644 US 74 ALT. Lumberton, NC 28360.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM following the visitation at Riverside Independent Baptist Church with Reverend’s Jerry McNeill, Johnathan McNeill and David Locklear officiating.
Burial will follow in Burnt Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton.
