Ms. Shelby Jean Poole Inman, 73, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Shelby was born in Chatham County, TN. on November 1, 1940 to the late James and Josephine Adkins Poole. Shelby retired from Purolator where she worked in the Warehouse and Assembly. She loved to read, make candles and play games on her computer. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and those who knew her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Mike Poole and a sister, Leone Olinda Waid.
She is survived by her sons, Phil Inman and his wife Melissa of Fayetteville and Steve Inman and his wife Melody of Fayetteville; daughters, Pam Inman and Amanda of Stedman, Patricia Johnson and her husband Robert of Linden, Jamie Taylor and her husband James of Linden and Sherry Inman of Stedman; a brother, Dennis Poole of Clarksville, TN; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM August18, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304 with Reverend George Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
