Mr. Shannon Michael Longinotti, 36, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020.

Michael was born in Winston Salem, NC on July 17, 1984. He joined the US Army in 2003 and was Honorably discharged in 2010. He served one tour of duty in Iraq and is a recipient of the Purple Heart. When Michael was younger, he was in the Cub Scouts and enjoyed Little League Baseball in Winston-Salem. He was in the JROTC, Honor Guard, played the saxophone in Hoggard high school band in Wilmington and played at many events. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Murden who thought the world of Michael.

He is survived by his mother, Regina Hindle and her husband, Donald of Wilmington; his step father, Karl Tadlock of Walkertown; his grandmother, whom he called Momma, Evelyn R. Longinotti and fiancé Chris Lutterloah of Hampstead and his grandfather, whom he called Dad, David Lee Longinotti and wife, Judith L. of Burgaw; his grandfather, Harry Lee Yeatts and wife Sylvia of King; brothers, Sandy Yeatts and wife Deena of Ocracoke, James Tadlock of Winston Salem, Brandon Tadlock of Kernersville and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304

Graveside services with Military Honors will be 2:00 PM at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Sam Hill officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Michaels name can be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
