SGT Jordan Alexander Breitweiser, 27, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center .
Jordan was born in Buffalo, NY on March 2, 1987 to Tammilin Breitweiser. He joined the Army in 2007 and was assigned to the 3rd MISB Airborne MISOC, Ft. Bragg, NC. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy “Na-Na” Green.
His awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal (2), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon, NAO Medal, and Parachutist Badge.
He is survived by his loving wife, Courtney M. Breitweiser of Bunnlevel; daughter, Chloe Elle Breitweiser of Bunnlevel; mother, Tammilin Pawlak of Houston, TX and step-father, Paul Pawlak of North Tonawanda, NY; brother, Justin Pawlak of North Tonawanda, NY; sister, Amanda Pawlak of North Tonawanda, NY; grandmother, Barbara Pawlak of North Tonawanda, NY; uncles, Jim and John Breitweiser of Fayetteville, Ret. SFC Michael Mangold of Junction City, KS; aunt, Tricia Brown of North Tonawanda, NY; cousins, Cassandra and Katlyn Brown of North Tonawanda, NY and many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00-6:00 PM Sunday, June 1, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford, NC 28304
