Sfc (Ret) Dan Floyd Jones

SFC (Ret) Dan Floyd Jones, 62, of Fayetteville passed on to glory on July 27th 2018 with his loving wife by his side. Dan was preceded in death by his father; Dantzler Jones and brother; John D. Johnson.

Dan was a member of New Beginning Christian Faith Center under the leadership of Pastor Geraldine Thompson. He joined the US Army in 1974 and after 20 years of faithful service, he retired in 1994.

Dan leaves to cherish his memory his loving and faithful wife of 38 years; JoAnn Jones, mother; Thelma Terrell, sisters; Lena Terrell-White (Paul), Teresa Jackson (Charles), Father & Mother-in-law; Roy and Gladys Phillips, brother-in-law, James Phillips (Debra), childhood friend; Kevin Reddick, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Bethel Christian Assembly. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church.
