SFC Jeremy Stephan Rausch, 38, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in his home.
SFC Rausch was born in Hampton, VA on October 28, 1976 to Jeffery Scott Rausch Sr. and Jacqueline Ritchie Rausch. After high school, he joined the US Army and served three deployments, including two combat tours to Iraq during his 20 years of service.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffery and Jacqueline Rausch of River Ridge, LA; his former wife, Melinda Lesher of Fuquay Varina; children, Taylor M. Collis-Rausch of Falcon, Sky E. Rausch and Jade F. Rausch, both of Fuquay Varina; a brother, Jeffery “Scott” Rausch Jr. of Charlottesville, VA; sisters, Jesi E. Rausch-Nobles of San Diego, CA. and Jamie A. Rausch-Halpin of Mountain Top, VA.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:30 PM Thursday, May 28, 2015 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Funeral Services will begin at 7:30 PM following the visitation with Chaplain (MAJ) Robert Crowley officiating.
Burial will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
