Sang Sun "Casey" Fogle, 77, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Womack Army Medical Center.
Casey as her friends called her, was born in Seoul, Korea on April 25, 1937 to the late Pong-Su Hwang and Gae-Nan Kim. She was a dedicated US Army wife working on bases in Korea, Germany and the US. She loved her family, her dogs and liked to travel. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Alex Fogle, two brothers, Sang-Tae Hwang, Young-Kwan Hwang and a sister. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie D. Fogle of Fayetteville; a daughter, Leigh Ann Roop and her husband, Steve of Grapevine, TX; a sister, Young-Chun Hwang of Korea and a grandson, Ryan Roop of Grapevine, TX.
Visitation will be 7:00-8:00 PM Thursday, August 14, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
A Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 15, 2014 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
