Rosa (Ramey) Allen

Rosa Ramey Allen, 95, of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in her home with Sandra and Teresa by her side.

Rosa was born in Loganville, GA on December 22, 1928, daughter to the late John Ramey and Lucy Glace Ramey. She worked as a manager for Public School Cafeteria’s before retirement and was a faithful member of West Fayetteville Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband of 76 years, Calvin Allen, two children, Linda Lavon Allen, John Morrison Allen, and 6 siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Hart of Campobello, SC, Teresa O’Berry and husband Larry O’Berry of Cameron, NC, Pam Bozeman and husband Joe Bozeman of Fayetteville; son, Anthony Allen of Statesville; 6 grandchildren, John Allen Jr., Buffy Winter, Danny Hart, Tammy Hart, Tiffany Tetlow and Billy Lawrence; 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday, February 12, 2024 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM following the visitation with Pastor’s Rick Montes and Andy McDaniel officiating.

Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. in Cumberland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4509 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
