Retired SSG Robert Dean Yingling, 58, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at his home.
SSG Yingling was born January 26, 1955 in Cook County, IL to Dean F. and Maxine Thornton Yingling. He retired from the US Army serving over 20 years and was a Civil Service Employee with Womack Army Medical Center as a Surgical Technician. He was a veteran of the Gulf War. His father, Dean F. Yingling preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Yingling of the home; his mother, Maxine R. Yingling of Texarkana, TX; a daughter, Rebecca Yingling of Germany; a brother, James Yingling and his wife Kimberly of Arkansas; 2 grandchildren, Celina and Zoe Yingling of Germany; a nephew, Michael Yingling of Texarkana, TX; aunts, Lucille and Arda Thornton of Missouri and many cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 1, 2013 at The Main Post Chapel, Bldg #1-1510, Sedgewick St, Fort Bragg, NC, 28310 with Army Chaplain CPT Scott King officiating.
Burial will follow at a later date in Missouri.
