Mr. Robert Lee Dooley, 71, passed away Thursday May 15, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Robert was born in Harrisburg, NY on December 13, 1942 to the late Charles “Chuck” Dooley and Gladys Bacon Dooley. He retired from the US Navy as Chief Petty Officer and has worked for the past 31 years for Healy Wholesale Beverage Distribution. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bernard Dooley and Gilbert Dooley and a sister, Gayle Shane.
He is survived by his sons, John Scott Dooley and his wife Tonya of Raeford and Robert Brent Dooley of Fayetteville; a daughter, Amanda Karla Polak and her husband Raymond of Colorado Springs, CO; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM Monday, May 19, 2014 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4509 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 PM following the visitation with Chaplain officiating.
Entombment with Full Military Honors will follow the service at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
