Mr. Ricky Alfred McPherson, 57, of Fayetteville, died Sunday April 20, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Ricky was born in Dekalb County, AL. on February 24, 1957 to Alfred Edwin and Barbara Groeshel McPherson. Ricky spent 13 years in the Coast Guard and then was a Manager with East Coast Retail Sales for 20 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Edwin McPherson.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Grillo McPherson of Virginia; mother, Barbara McPherson of Fayetteville; daughters, Leanne McPherson of Virginia and Leslie M. Lechner of Texas; brothers, Ralph J. McPherson and Mike E. McPherson, both of Fayetteville; sister, Barbara Orris and her husband Roger of Smyrna, TN and 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn McPherson and CJ Lechner.
A Memorial Burial-at-Sea will follow at a later date.
