Mr. Richard Bishop, 59, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Richard was born in St. Louis, MO. on October 20, 1953 to the late AC and Mabel Shipp Bishop. After High School, Richard joined the US Army and retired while stationed at Ft. Bragg.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ok-Son Bishop of Fayetteville; son, Rodney C. Bishop of Fayetteville; daughter, Renae M. Liscano of Ft. Lee, VA; brothers, Steve Bishop of Texas and Allen Bishop of Missouri; sisters, Margaret Dickson, Barbara Bishop, Fredricka Bishop and Joann Bishop, all of Missouri; grandchildren, Rodney Bishop Jr. of Fayetteville, Michael Liscano III and Gabriel Liscano, both of Ft. Lee, VA.
Memorial Services with Full Military Honors will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. The Service will be conducted by an Army Chaplain.
