Retired SSG Edward Frank Roberts, 71, Passed Away Monday September 8, 2014 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Edward was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 13, 1942 to the late Lester Frank Roberts and Jean Frances Dzikiewicz Roberts. He retired from the US Army serving over 20 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed working on small engines, especially all his friend’s lawnmowers. He was a loving husband, father and friend to all and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Masako Roberts of the home; step-mother, Geri Sola and husband Frank of Florida; daughters, Deana Scott and husband Johnny of Fayetteville and Sherry Roberts of Florida; brothers, Steven Roberts and wife Lenice of Maryland, Bruce Roberts and wife Tina of New Jersey and Scott Roberts of Florida; sisters, Darlene Burrows of Delaware and Denise M. Lewis of Florida and 2 grandchildren.
Graveside services with Full Military Honors will be 11:00 A.M. Friday September 12, 2014 at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after the service at the home.
