Retired SGT Frankie James Sangster, 51, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Frankie was born in Brownsville, TN on September 5, 1963 to William Mack and Frances Mae Sangster. He joined the US Army after High School. While stationed in Germany, he joined the Howard Plummer Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Frankie was a loving husband, father and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Sangster of the home; father, William Mack and his wife Johnnie Mae Mack of Jackson, TN; his mother, Frances Mae Sangster of Falcon, NC; maternal grandmother, Annie Lou Mack of Nut Bush, TN; son, Harvey Sangster of the home; daughter, Fanquita Johnson of the home; brother, Darrell Mack (Trease) of Jackson, TN; sisters, Roslyn Reed (Norman) of Jackson, TN, Cheryl Mack of Atlanta, GA and Brenda Passmore (Don) of Crete, IL; grandchildren, Delaney Johnson of the home and Jayden Williams.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Main Post Chapel, Building #1-1510, corner of Sedgewick and Alexander streets, Ft. Bragg, NC with Chaplain (CPT) Al Castillo and Apostle Juan Bautista officiating.
Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4905 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
