Raeford Knight Sr.

Mr. Raeford Knight, Sr. “Ray” died August 5, 2019 at the age of 68.

Mr. Knight was born on January 12, 1951 in St. Pauls, NC to the late Wilson and Annie Lee Knight. He retired from Delta Airline where he was employed for 35 years.

He is survived by a son, Raeford Knight, Jr.; four daughters, Cheryl Carattini of Alaska, Theresa Lucas of Gray’s Creek, NC, Michelle Petrizzo of PA and Jade Arendes of New York City, NY; a brother, Jerry Knight, Sr. of Stedman, NC; his lifetime partner, Melody Arendes of New York City, NY; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, monkeys and chicken monkeys.

Visitation will be between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2019 at LaFayette Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Fayetteville Assembly of God with Reverend Tommy Hall officiating.

Burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
