Racheal Marie (Vandenberg) Rice

Mrs. Racheal Marie Rice, 29, Passed Away Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Womack Army Medical Center.

Racheal was born in Costa Rica on December 24, 1984 to Rick and Karen DeJager Vandenberg. Racheal graduated from East Martin Christian School in Martin Michigan. After High School she married Aaron who joined the United States Army. They are stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. She loved her children so much and enjoyed Drawing, Art Work, Painting and Photography. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, SSG Aaron Rice of Ft. Bragg; her 3 loving children, Aiden Rice, Colin Rice and Cambria Rice, all of Ft. Bragg; her mother and father, Rick and Karen Vandenberg of Shelbyville, MI; brother, Carl Vandenberg of Grand Rapids, MI; sister, Amy Paufler of Shelbyville, MI; father and mother-in-law, Fred and Norma Rice of Kalamazoo, MI; brother-in-law, Ryan Rice of Ft. Drum, NY; sister-in-law, Krista Janssen and her husband Kevin of Parchment, MI and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00-5:00 PM Saturday, May 24, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Road Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Funeral Services will be announced by Langeland Funeral Home in Kalamazoo, MI at a later date.
