CPO Philip Guy Reilly (RET)

CPO Philip Guy Reilly (US Navy Retired), 82, passed away on October 7, 2024 at FirstHealth Hospice House. He was born to the late Philip J. Reilly and Helen F. Mott on September 18, 1942. He went on to honorably serve his country for more than 20 years. 

During his service CPO Reilly earned the following awards and decorations: National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy “E” Ribbon (Third), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (Third), Navy Unit Commendation, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Humanitarian Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Award (Sixth.)

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Raymond A. Riley and sister Mary Reilly. 

Reilly is survived by his loving wife, Karen M. Reilly; son Philip Guy Christopher Reilly II of Fayetteville, NC; daughter Kimberly Wilson of Fayetteville, NC; sister Barbara Reuter of Towaca, NJ; grandchildren Christopher James Reilly, Earl Dean Wilson III, Corey Lee Wilson, and Megan Rivera; great-grandchildren Savannah Reilly, Zacarie Wilson, Kierstyn Reilly, Baileigh Reilly, Macie Rose Reilly, Harley Wilson, and Easton Wilson; along with a host of extended family members and friends. 

Burial services with Full Military Honors will be on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Sandhills State Veteran's Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC 28310.
