Mrs. Peggy Cain Smith, 83, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 in her home.

Peggy was born in Bladen County on August 9, 1931, daughter to George and Kate Cain from White Oak. She retired from Fasco Industries in Fayetteville and was a dedicated member of Massey Hill Baptist Church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful sister. She loved her church, Southern Gospel Music and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Peggy was a wonderful and caring person and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, George and Kate Cain, sisters, Leola Collier and Pamell Ellis, brothers, Pete Bullard and Max Bullard.

She is survived by her loving husband, Nathan E. Smith of the home; sons, Tracy Smith and wife Annette of Hope Mills, Jimmy Smith and wife Evie of Fayetteville, Ray Smith and wife Maria of Fayetteville, Mike Smith of Fayetteville and Craig Smith and wife Debbie of Fayetteville; daughters, Linda Pinion and husband Bobby of Fayetteville and Anne Coleman and husband Al of Eastover; a brother, Robert Cain and his companion Brenda of Roseboro; sisters, Margaret Wright, Sudie Roa and Mary Hair and husband Clarence, all of Fayetteville; 13 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; special friends, Christine Brown and family of Tampa, Fl.

Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 PM Monday, January 19, 2015 at Massey Hill Baptist Church, 1027 Southern Ave. Fayetteville, NC 28306.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Massey Hill Baptist church with Pastor Tim Evans officiating.

Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Massey Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 1027 Southern Ave. Fayetteville, NC 28306
