Pat Loper

Mr. Pat Loper of 325 N. Cool Springs Street died Sunday, March 18, 2018 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center at the age of 95.

He was born in Washington County, AL on January 18, 1923 to the late Steve T. Loper and Emma Odom Loper. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by, his wife, Mary Frances Loper and 6 brothers and sisters.

He proudly served in the US Army during World War II, was discharged and reenlisted to participate in the Korean War.  He worked in Civil Service as a plumber until his retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald P. Loper and wife Karen and John M. Loper and wife Jewell all of Fayetteville.  A daughter, Susan Condit and husband Howard of Senoia, GA.  Eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at LaFayette Memorial Park West, officiated by Reverend Michael Oliver of Second Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
