Olisa Marie Nyadongo

Olisa Marie Nyadongo, 20, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on October 22, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley medical Center.

Olisa was born on October 12, 2003 to parents Rosemary Jones (Romero) and Clever Nyadongo. She was a beautiful soul who would light up the room. She was a wonderful sister and daughter who had the biggest heart. Those who loved her knew that she was witty, funny, resilient, and sassy.

Olisa loved watching anime, Supernatural, Tyler Perry films such as Madea, the Simpsons, and loved celebrating Halloween. She had a soft spot for animals and would always be feeding stray animals she would come across with treats that she carried in her purse. Not only did she love animals, but she loved people as well. In school, Olisa was studying psychology to help others. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. To know her was to love her.

Along with her parents, Olisa is survived by her step-father Roderick Jones; sister Nadia Nyadongo; brothers Konstantine Jones, Lawrence, and Aiden; uncles Noel, Bill, two Michael’s, Tony, Paul, and James; aunts Raquel, Xia, and Lilly; cousins Makaylah, Makaya, Talya, Frankie, William, Larry, Stephanie, baby William, Angie, Tina, Neveah, Austin, Hunter, Frank, Kaila, and Anthony; grandmothers Theresa, Mary “Gogo,” Betty, Shayla G.; great grandmother Marion; and grandfathers John, Mike, and Roderick; along with many other extended family members and friends.
