Nancy Darlene Thompkins

Nancy Darlene Thompkins, 69, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Nancy was born in Cumberland County on July 19, 1955, daughter to the late Willie Irving Bryant and Ethel Mae Lewis Bryant. Nancy spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her husband and children. She was a very loving mother and would take in any child that needed a home and was a great cook. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Along with her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Tart and 6 siblings.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Tart (Kristen Reynolds) of Fayetteville; a daughter, Tracey Tart (Lawrence Davis) of Fayetteville; sisters, Virginia Ashcraft, Evelyn Chapman, both of Fayetteville and Alma Mandel of Hope Mills; 4 grandchildren, Breanna Tart, Devon Tart, Anthony Tart, Laney Davis and a host of extended family members.

A Celebration of life will be held 11:00 Am Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Crystal Springs Chapel 1400 Crystal Springs Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306 with Pastor Bruce Suggs officiating.
