Mr. Michael Yonwoo Wha, 21, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November, 10, 2013 in Fayetteville, NC.
Michael was born July 9, 1992 in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Fayetteville, NC. He graduated from Berean Baptist Academy in 2010 and was a student at Campbell University. Michael loved basketball and was a devoted Lakers Fan! He was a true sports enthusiast, who enjoyed playing basketball and golf. He was also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Michael’s passions included the fine arts. He loved music, playing the piano, and was quite an artist. Most of all, Michael was loved by everyone that knew him. He had a true presence whose kind heart, and sweet spirit touched everyone.
Michael is survived by his loving parents, Sonsuk Yu of Fayetteville and Sang Chin Wha of Korea.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Korean Baptist Church, 6873 Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville, NC 28314 with Pastor Stan S. Hong Officiating.
Inurnment will follow the service at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
