Ms. Melisa Dianne Hammond, 40, Passed Away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Melisa attended Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville. She loved going to the beach, taking pictures and fishing. Most of all, she loved her children and family. She will be greatly missed.
Melisa is survived by her son, Dylan Hammond of Fayetteville; a daughter, Alysha Hammond of Fayetteville; her mother, Kathy Mollett of Fayetteville; brothers, George A. Hammond and Charles Eric Hammond, both of Fayetteville, Allen Sumblin of Virginia, Chad Sumblin and Ryan Sumblin, both of Jacksonville, NC; sisters, Dana Coppola of Virginia and Jennifer Sumblin of Jacksonville, NC.
Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 Monday, August 18, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Funeral Service will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home with Reverend’s Jerry Groves and Paul Mollett officiating.
Burial will follow in Cumberland Cemetery on Bingham Drive in Fayetteville.
