Mary Lynne Catherine (Stevenson) Stevenson

Mary Lynne Catherine Stevenson, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away at her home on Monday, September 27, 2021. Mary was born on October 23, 1944 in Washington DC, to the late Edward D. Stevenson and Doris Ethlyn Walthers, and she worked for NY State Department of Mental Health & Hygiene as a dietitian.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Richard A. Stevenson, and twins John & James Stevenson.

She is survived by her son, David R. Carroll, of Hope Mills, NC; and her daughter, Sharon A. Carroll, of Fayetteville, NC; seven grandchildren, Shawn, Arianna, Anela, Tiana, Bryce, Kiarra, Aleena; and a host of extended family members and friends.

A private Memorial Service will be held at West Fayetteville Baptist Church. Date and time of the service will be announced by the family at a later date.
