Mark Anthony Slocum

Mark Anthony Slocum, 63, of Fayetteville, NC died Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Universal Health Care in Lillington, NC.

Mark was born in Marlborough, MA. on February 24, 1959 son to the late John Arthur Slocum Sr. and Shirley Marie McQuiggan. He served in the National Guard and worked in Maintenance at a ToFu Factory. Mr. Slocum was a member of the IC Dukes of Marlborough Drum & Bugle Corp and the Framingham Sharpshooters. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, John Arthur Slocum Jr. and Christopher Carie Slocum.

He is survived by two brothers, Douglas Slocum (Laurie Hinds) of Fayetteville, NC and Timothy Slocum (Dorothy) of Ashland, MA; three nieces, Laura Slocum Tice, Susan Slocum Hux, and Alexandria Harris; one nephew, Kevin Slocum; and a host of extended family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday, October, 8, 2022 at LaFayette Funeral Home 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM.
