Marjeane Williams

Marjeane Williams, 85, of Fayetteville, NC died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Haymount Nursing and Rehab Center.

Marjeane was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Tewksbury, MA on December 2, 1937. Growing up in Brookline and Dedham, MA she graduated from Dedham High School in 1955. A beautiful singer, Marjeane attended the New England Conservatory of Music, where she studied vocals. After singing in the Handel and Haydn Society in Boston, MA she moved to Cape Cod, MA where she would reside for forty-six years. She enjoyed spending her time at the beach, painting, drawing, writing, and cooking. A fantastic baker, she was extremely creative, often making master pieces out of ‟Nothing”. A unique individual Marjeane often stressed the importance of ‟Making your own parade” during the hardships of life. She will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind soul who loved life, put her faith in God, and brought life into every room she entered. Her light will continue to shine down upon her family as she takes her place among the Angels.

Mrs. Williams loved her family. She is survived by her six children, Meryl, Laura, Ernie, Fritz, Chris, and Jon; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. She will forever remain in their hearts as the Matriarch of the family.
