Maria (Sanchez-Torres) Perez

Luisa “Maria” Perez of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on June 14, 2024, at Womack Army Medical Center.

Maria was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on April 20, 1951, to the late Jose Sanchez and Andrea Torres.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert W. Perez-Santiago Sr., son Robert W. Perez Jr.; daughter Rosemary Perez (Teresa); sisters Lucy Larson, Lydia Melendez, and Mercedes Sanchez; and two grandchildren, Robert W. Perez III, and Liam R. Perez, along with many extended family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends 4 PM - 6 PM Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 PM following the visitation.

Interment will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 28th, 2024, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery 8220 Bragg Blvd. Spring Lake, NC 28390.
