Mr. Marc Raymond, 79, Passed Away Saturday, June 28, 2014, in his home.eline: Fayetteville

Marc Raymond was born in St Marc, Haiti on February 5th, 1935.  He is the son of the late Joseph Raymond and Pierrecina Cyrius.  He, and his wife, Paulette Raymond, resided in Spring Valley New York from 1968 to 2001.   He devoted most of his life raising his four step-children. He worked in Spring Valley as an auto mechanic and a school bus driver.

In 2001, when he retired, he and his wife decided to relocate to Fayetteville North Carolina in order to be near his children and grand-children. Marc loved spending time with his family and friends.  He loved sports, camping, traveling and most of all repairing cars.
Marc was a loving and kind husband, father, grand-father, and friend who was loved by everyone that he came in contact with. It gave him great pleasure to help anyone who had a need.
Along with his parents, Marc is preceded in death by his wife, Paulette.

He is survived by his sister, Avenia Raymond Denestan of Miami Florida; his children, Daniella Jackson and spouse of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Mariette Joseph of Charlotte, NC, Linda Joseph of Spring-valley NY and Yves Joseph and spouse of Lawrenceville, NJ, seven grand-children and several nieces and nephews.
Marc will be greatly missed, but he will live in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, July 4, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2844 Village Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28304 with Rev. Steven V. Carlson officiating.

Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park, 4017 Gillespie St., Fayetteville, NC 28306.
