Ms. Mamie Jacobs, 93, went home to be with her loving Savior Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Mamie was born on November 30, 1925 in Sampson County, NC to the late James Washington Jacobs and Elizabeth Carter Jacobs. She was a faithful member of Cape Fear Baptist Church and loved helping people, especially the homeless. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a hard worker who sometimes worked 2 jobs for her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Gary Jacobs and 3 siblings, James Parnell Jacobs, Florence (Sister) Jacobs and Dalton Jacobs.

She is survived by her daughters, Diana Rivera and husband Mike, Venus Jacobs Brewington and husband Paul, Carmen Jacobs Berber and husband Leo, all of Fayetteville; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2019 at Cape Fear Baptist Church, 100 Indian Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28312.

Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM at the church with Pastor Tony Brewington officiating.

Burial will follow in Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery.
