Louise (Lanier) Butler

Louise Lanier Butler, 83, of Lumberton went home to be with her Savior Monday, April 29, 2024 in her home.

Louise was born in Bladen County, NC. on May 9, 1940 to Florence and John Thomas Lanier. Throughout her professional endeavors, she found fulfillment in the realms of production and manufacturing, leaving an indelible mark within her chosen field. Louise was a faithful member of Kingdom Place Ministries and loved the lord. She was so giving and cared so much for her family and everyone she met.

Louise will be remembered with deep affection and reverence by her family and friends, her legacy resonating in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Florence, three children; Lilly Christine Friend, Jerry Wayne Butler, Michael Dewey Butler and her siblings.

She leaves behind a rich tapestry of family connections, including her grandchildren, Michael Shane Smith, Jennifer Smith, Eric Britt, and Charlie Wayne Edwards, as well as 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial service to honor Louise's life and contributions will be held at a Kingdom Place Ministries 2610 E 5th Street Lumberton, NC 28358 @ 2PM with Gary Strickland officiating.
