Linda Sue (Bullock) Mitchell

Mrs. Linda Sue Bullock – Mitchell, 67, passed away peacefully at dawn Sunday, September 12, 2021, in ICU at Cape Fear trauma center, Fayetteville surrounded by husband and son.

Linda, an Army brat, born in England, grew up in Fayetteville where she graduated from 71st High School in 1971. In 1972 she married her husband an 82nd Airborne paratrooper in a full military wedding ceremony at Fort Bragg. She moved from Fayetteville after husband’s military reassigned and by 1980s was living in Sacramento, California, employed as office manager for Sacramento Truck and Auto. She attended postsecondary school, continued employment as office manager and raised her children until a freak accident forced her to quit working in 2002. After the accident she returned to college earning degrees in Criminal Justice and Pre-Law. She and her husband moved to Las Vegas, Nevada after he retired in 2012 where they lived before returning to her home in Fayetteville a little over a year ago.

Linda is survived by her husband Ronald, son Ronald Jr., daughter Christina, grandchildren Zoe, Eva, Nick, Skyla and Rocky, great-grandson Tyrson, one brother and many cousins. She loved her entire family including her quasi-adopted children, kitties and dog Mexi. Preceded in death by her parents Eva and Linward Bullock. Such a beautiful lady, she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
