Lillie Christine Stevens, 86, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Poplar Heights Center in Elizabethtown .

Lillie was born in Pollocksville, NC on April 23, 1928 to the late Earl Wayne Skinner Sr. and Iodest Dail Skinner. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star #334, member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown and a member of Hay Street United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Lillie was a loving and caring person, a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Richard Stevens, her son, Richard Earl Stevens, brothers, Earl Skinner Jr. and Carroll Skinner.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jill Greenlaw Stevens of Harrells, NC; brothers, Kenneth Ray Skinner (Edith) and Bobby Steel Skinner (Gwen), all of Farmville; a sister, Mary Ellen Shirley of Wilson; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:30-11:00 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

A Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM following the visitation at the Funeral Home with Reverend Jay Winston officiating.

Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Ramsey Street in Fayetteville.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 759 Elizabethtown NC 28337.
