In Loving Memory of Lessie Adams Bullard-Whaley

Lessie Adams Bullard-Whaley, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, peacefully departed this life and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 15, 2023, at the age of 76. Born on March 30, 1947, Lessie's journey touched the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Lessie is survived by her devoted husband, W.T. "Pete" Whaley, her loving daughter, Sarah Bullard, her sister Flora Webb and husband Clyde, and her cherished grandchild, Colby Bullard. In their shared grief, the family finds solace in the memories they created with Lessie throughout the years. Although her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness and warmth.

Lessie is preceded in death by her parents, William Lewis Adams and Mary Margaret Graham-Adams, her first husband, John H. Bullard Jr., and her son, William Lewis Bullard.

A faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC, Lessie's commitment to her faith was a guiding light in her life. Her involvement in the church community was a testament to her deep-rooted spirituality and love for others.

Lessie's legacy is not only defined by her relationships but also by the countless lives she touched with her generosity, compassion, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a commitment to family that will be remembered for generations to come.

During this time of mourning, let us come together to celebrate Lessie's life and the impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we grieve her passing, let us also find comfort in the knowledge that her memory will continue to live on through the love and shared experiences we hold dear.

In honor of Lessie’s life, the family will receive friends on Wednesday December 27, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 3527 Dundle Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28306 from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 12:30 PM with Pastor Bobby Winebarger officiating.

Burial will be 2:00 PM in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
