Mr. Kenneth Darnell Griffin, 70, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in his home.
Kenneth was born in LaPlata, MD on April 4, 1944 to the late Darnell L. and Agnes Kenshiloe Griffin. He graduated high school and joined the US Army. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rosa Lee Shaw and Sylvia Hiott.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Griffin of the home; daughters, Brenda Brooks and her fiancé James Bilter of Colonial Heights, VA and Vickie Griffin-Hester and husband Derrick of Laurinburg; Grandchildren Terie Griffin, Shelby Page, Rashaad Griffin, Hakeem Morrison, Darrion Page, Robin Dale, Kerstin Brooks, Diamond Hester and Emerald Hester and 5 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304 with Pastor John Blackmon officiating.
Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
