Ms. Karen Lee Northen Suarez, 65, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Karen was born in Louisville, KY on October 18, 1949 to the late Fred Arlington Northen Jr. and Joyce Taylor Northen. She was a Purchasing Agent in the Medical Field before retiring.

Karen is survived by her daughters, Jenny Saurez of Fayetteville and Jamie Maynard of Germany; brothers, Ford Northen of Snohomish, WA. and Tripp Northen of Lithia Springs, GA; sister, Barbara Alter of Bessemer, AL; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A celebration of Life service will be scheduled at a later date.
