Judy Yvonne Holifield, 78, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in her home.
Judy was born in Haywell, KY to the late Percy and Isadora Gregory Payne. She was a cook with Loyd E. Auman Elementary School before retiring.
She is survived by her Husband; Jimmy Holifield of Fayetteville; A son, Gregory Dale Holifield of Fayetteville; a daughter, Lisa Nelson-Atchison and her husband James of Raeford; sisters, Mary Lee Holman of Cairo, IL. and Sharon Couples of Gatlinburg, TN; two Grandchildren, Cheri Thomas (Christopher) and Daniel Ray Nelson; three Great-Grandchildren, Haley Nelson, Aubrey Thomas and Olivia Thomas.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 Monday, June 12, 2017 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC with Reverend Gary Lucas officiating.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
