Johnny Wilburn Savage Jr., 76, of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 15, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family.
Johnny was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on April 15, 1948, son to the late Johnny Wilburn Savage Sr. and Esther Lee Marrow Savage.
Johnny served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked several jobs to include Maintenance in the Medical field before his retirement and attended Crystal Springs Chapel Church. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Tommy, daughters, Sabrina Savage, and Samantha Cruz, brothers, Tommy Savage, Walter Savage and James Savage, sisters, Annie Knight, Ruby Landa, Carolyn Savage and Betty. Johnny will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda D. Stewart Savage of the home; Children, Benjamin Savage of Florida, Isabella Savage, Donnie Barfield, Ronnie Barfield, Jonathan Savage, all of Fayetteville and John Ronald Savage of South Carolina; sisters, Dorothy Young, Kelly Stuart and Sherry; Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held 12:00 – 2:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2025 at Crystal Springs Chapel, 1400 Crystal Springs Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
Funeral services will follow the visitation with Pastor Bruce Suggs officiating.
Burial will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd., Fort Bragg, NC 28310.
