Mrs. Joan R. Kusse, 80, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 in her home.
Mrs. Kusse was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 20, 1932 to the late Frank and Lillian Gloss Benanti. She worked many years in a bank before retiring in 1983. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Frank Benanti.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Kusse of Newaygo, MI; a son, Fred Kusse Jr. and his wife Carol of Madison, WI; two daughters, Laura Demkowicz and her husband Ron of Cary, IL; Joan Sanders and her husband David of Fayetteville, NC; a brother, Joseph Benanti of Green Valley, AZ; three sisters, Patricia Hack and her husband Tony of Naples, FL; Barbara Hunt and her husband Norman of Apple River, IL and Janet Findley and her husband Mark of Dallas, GA; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her precious dog, Sandy.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2013 at LaFayette Funeral Home 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. A Funeral Mass will begin at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Entombment will follow the service at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery, 2881 Gillespie Street Fayetteville, NC 28306.
