Mrs. Irmgard Katharina Smith of Fayetteville, passed on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at her home at the age of 71
Mrs. Smith was born on September 24, 1940, to the late Josef and Katharina Spiegler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Smith
She is survived by four daughters, Eva Mair (Martin) of Germany, Caroline S. Haluski (Jason) of Fayetteville, Christine R. Richards (Mike) of Bridgeport, WV. and Lynder S. Serbio (Carmen) of Fayetteville; Three sons, Thomas C. Smith of Fayetteville, Maynard J. Smith (Wendy) of Fayetteville and Paul P. Spiegler (Sandy) of Fayetteville; Two sisters Rosa Auth of Germany and Elfriede Strauder (Larry) of Vass; 16 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street, Fayetteville.
