Iris Brunilda Hash, 41, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at her residence. Iris was proceeded in death by her mother and father.
Iris was a Veteran of the United States Army, from which she medically retired as a Corporal. Iris was a strong supporter of the Special Forces Regiment for which she did a lot of charity work. Iris also retired from the Womack Medical Center as a RN. Iris was a member of the Manna Church in Fayetteville.
Iris is survived by her husband Robert, step-children Robert (Heather), Nicholas, and Jeffrey (Amanda), four grandchildren: Luke, Alexis, Gavin and Ashton, her two sisters Elvia, Elizabeth, her brother Ronald and her Charlie Mike’s and Thai Pepper friends and family.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on May 2, 2018 at Lafayette Funeral Home. A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 3:00 PM following the visitation. At 5:00 PM Iris will take her last motorcycle ride to the Special Forces Association National Grounds at 4990 Doc Bennet Road where Iris will be laid to rest with full military honors.
The appropriate attire in Iris’ honor for this event should be motorcycle attire. Bob also requests movement from the funeral home to the SFA to be max motorcycle participation as possible. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office will be providing escort.
