Irina Schura (Hoelzer) Anderson

Irina S. Anderson, 84, of Hope Mills, NC went home to be with her savior Wednesday, December 27,2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Irina was born in Karlsruhe, Germany on May 24,1939 to Rudolf Hoelzer and Maria Schwefel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Anderson, and her son, Marcus Anderson.

Irina was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and on the board of Trustees, she was active in the Widows Watch, Legion of Mary, and other organizations such as the Red Hat Society. She was a member of a German ballet company; she owned and operated a dog training/boarding facility and a member of a bowling league. She will be greatly missed by all who know her.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM -10:30 AM Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5050 Oak Street, Hope Mills, NC 28348. The Legion of Mary will begin the Rosary at 10:30 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM following the rosary with Father Arul Yagappan officiating.

Graveside Services will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West, 6701 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304 followed by a Celebration of Life in the Good Shepherd Social Hall.
