Evangelist Geraldine Bethea, 52, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Geraldine was born in Marlboro County, SC on February 24, 1962 to Johnny James Williams and Mary Nancy Bethea. Over the years, she found a love for baking, making Jewelry and Crafting Candles. Of all her past –times, she was an avid shopper. She is preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Davis.

She graduated from Marlboro County High School in 1980. She obtained an Early Childhood Development degree from Robeson Community College. One of her greatest accomplishments was obtaining her CDL license from the State of NC. Throughout her career she drove for Robeson & Cumberland County Schools, which she took much pride in.

Evangelist “Gerald” was a devoted and faithful church member of “The Come One Come All Deliverance Youth Center” for nearly 20 year. She was a very dedicated member to her church under the leadership of Apostle Pearlie Mae Johnson and took pride in serving the Lord.

She spoke of Gods goodness everywhere she went up until the day the Lord called her home to rest. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but we are all finding comfort in knowing that she is peacefully resting in the Lord.

She is survived by a son, Narris Bethea (Melanie) of Willmington; daughters, Audra Gibson of Fayetteville and Latoya Bethea of Raleigh; brothers, James Bethea (Stennette) of Laurel Hill, Willie Davis, Purnell Williams (Tina), Marshall Williams and Bobby Williams (Wendy), all of McColl, SC; sisters, Eunice Robinson (Otis) of Dillon, SC, Mae Helen Hope, Carol Davis and Betty Davis, all of McColl, SC and Diane Williams of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Christopher Gilliard, Damante Currie, Janiya Currie, Jordan Richard and Dean Bethea.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2014 at St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center, 4657 Daniel McLeod Rd. Red Springs, NC 28377 with Apostle Anthony Buie officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Cumberland Cemetery on Bingham Drive in Fayetteville.
