Mr. Gerald Voelz, 62, of Fayetteville died Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Mr. Voelz was born December 29, 1950 in Weld County CO. At one time he worked for AT&T as a manager in telecommunications. He was active in the LaFayette Village Community watch and the Cross Creek COPS program. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Voelz.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cheryl Voelz of Fayetteville; two step sons, Daniel and Robert of Fayetteville; a daughter, Kristie Harding (Dale) of Tucson, AZ; mother, Marian Gardner Voelz of Greeley CO.; two brothers, Greg Voelz (Charee) and Mike Voelz (Cora Ann) both of Greeley, CO; a sister, Lynne Suppes (Sam) of Greeley, CO; and a grandchild Olivia Harding of Tucson, AZ.
Memorial Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at LaFayette Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Dennis Sheppard officiating.
