Mr. Gerald Ray Reynolds, 81, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Gerald was born in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Arnold and Nellie Grigsby Reynolds. He served in the United States Marines during the Korean War serving several tours of duty. He was a proud Marine and loved this country. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Anne Reynolds.
Gerald is survived by a daughter, Jayme Reynolds of Ft. Wayne, IN; a son, Gerald Ray Reynolds II of Indiana and step-son, Robert Giffen of Fayetteville; a sister, Lila Niemeyer of Texas, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC.
