Mr. Francisco Jose Calderon, 17, died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Thursday, April 7, 2022.
Francisco was born in Salt Lake City, UT. on March 19, 2005 to Frank Calderon and Danielle Sedillo. As a junior, at Jack Britt High School, Francisco enjoyed Rap, Hip Hop Music, style & fashion, fine jewelry, camping, and traveling. Recently he became interested in studying philosophy and theology, and was always interested in trying new things. Francisco walked the runway twice during New York Fashion Week modeling for Leese Hoskins of Promise Clothing.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Esperanza and Francisco Calderon.
Francisco is survived by his mother, Danielle Sedillo, of the home, and her husband Joe Dwyer; his father, Frank Calderon, of Fayetteville, NC; his brother; Javier Calderon, of the home; two sisters, Nicole Mullis and her husband Devon Mullis, of Savannah, GA, and Erica Calderon, of Kansas City, MO; his maternal grandparents, Marianne Green and Harold Sorenson, of St. George, UT, and Lloyd Sedillo and his wife Sharon Sedillo, of UT; two aunts, Anna Sedillo, of Salt Lake City, UT, and Marie Sedillo Boley and her husband Matt Boley, of Salt Lake City, UT; two nieces, Kenley & Quinn Mullis, of Savannah, GA; several cousins and a host of extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 5:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2002, at The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 9701 Cliffdale Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. Light refreshments will be served following the service.
